Krasnoyarsk authorities announced a decrease in the crime rate in the region

The crime rate has decreased in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Alexander Solovyov, head of the Interior Ministry for the region, spoke about the results of the work of law enforcement agencies in the first half of 2025.

According to the data provided by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the number of intentional crimes decreased in the first six months of the year.

Thus, there were 7% fewer murders, 24% fewer serious injuries, 47% fewer arson attacks, 22% fewer robberies, 15% fewer carjackings and motorcycles, and 16% fewer extortion cases. A slight decrease is observed only in fraud and theft.

Thus, the crime rate per 10,000 people decreased from 86% to 76.9%.

Earlier, on July 15, it was reported that a man was detained in Krasnoyarsk, who had previously killed his beloved and dismembered her body. Law enforcement agencies received a statement from a local resident about the disappearance of her 34-year-old friend. According to the investigation, on the evening of June 10, the 42-year-old roommate of the missing woman returned home from a business trip, and there was a conflict between the partners.
