Brown bear terrorizes villagers in Khabarovsk Territory
Since July 11, a brown bear has been coming to the village of Arka in the Okhotsk Municipal District in the Khabarovsk Territory. At the same time, he is not afraid of people. Experts believe that the wild animal poses a real threat to the life and health of local residents.
An order has been signed to regulate the number of brown bears. The relevant events have already begun.
According to IA AmurMedia, during the week from July 11 to 17, the regional department of hunting recorded six conflict situations involving wild animals.
The agency notes that on July 14, a bear was spotted in the village of Novaya Inya in the Okhotsk municipal District. On July 15, bear tracks were found near the village of Malyshevo, Khabarovsk region. On July 16, traces of an Amur tiger were found near the village of Sinda in Nanai district, and measures were taken to deter the predator.
On July 17, it was reported that a fox had visited the Okean children's camp in the Khabarovsk Territory. Measures are currently being taken to capture it.
On July 18, it was reported that a bear attacked a tourist from Saratov sleeping in a tent in Kamchatka. The woman received first aid. The victim was then taken to the hospital, where she underwent surgery.
