The perinatal center in Chita has received unique medical equipment

A unique device for supplying nitric oxide, a transport cuvette, operating tables and chairs were delivered to the Chita Perinatal Center. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Health.

They explained that the device for supplying nitric oxide is the only one in the world that is capable of extracting nitric oxide from the air. It was developed by Rosatom Corporation in cooperation with medical specialists. The equipment is necessary for the treatment of patients with respiratory failure caused by diseases of the cardiovascular system.

According to the head. The Larisa Nesterova Neonatal intensive care unit, 10-12 children with such a rare diagnosis are admitted to the center every year, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

The Perinatal Center has also received two new ventilators that can perform not only artificial lung ventilation, but also non-invasive ventilation, which eliminates the need to insert a tube into the child's airway. In the near future, the center will receive six more such devices.

The transport cuvette should replace the old incubator. The device with transparent walls allows you to monitor the baby's condition and maintains optimal microclimate parameters. The cuvette has a temperature sensor and an oxygen supply system.

Earlier it was reported that a contractor has been identified in the Trans-Baikal Territory to overhaul the regional clinical hospital. The renovation of the hospital, located on Kohanskogo Street, will be carried out by the local company Sphere LLC. The contract value was 1.95 billion rubles. The overhaul of the medical facility is divided into three stages, the first one is scheduled for 2025.
