The Kremlin has declared immunity to EU sanctions

Russia has acquired immunity to sanctions actively imposed by the European Union (EU). This was announced on July 18 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, in order to minimize the risks of the 18th package, the Russian government needs to familiarize itself with it.

"We have repeatedly said that we consider such unilateral restrictions illegal, and we oppose them. But at the same time, of course, we have already gained some immunity from sanctions, we have adapted to life under sanctions," Peskov said at a briefing.
