The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland urged citizens of the republic not to visit Russia. The corresponding message was published on July 18 on the official account of the department in the social network X (ex. Twitter).

As explained in the foreign Ministry, the reason for the recommendation was the recognition of Poland as an unfriendly state by Russia against the background of the conflict in Ukraine.

"Due to the reduction in the number of Polish consular staff in Russia, the possibility of providing assistance to Polish citizens is limited," the Foreign Ministry added.
