In the Nizhny Novgorod region, air defense systems destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on July 18 by the governor of the region Gleb Nikitin.

"Tonight, over an industrial area in the Nizhny Novgorod region, air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled an attack by UAVs," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.
