The FSB detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services in Crimea who transmitted information about air defense

Law enforcement officers detained a resident of Feodosia for transferring information about the locations of military installations and the location of the air defense forces to the special service and military intelligence of Ukraine. This was announced on July 18 by the press service of the FSB directorate for the region.

It is clarified that the attacker first contacted representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). Then, through a messenger, he began transmitting information about the location of military facilities, air defense, and the infrastructure of the Feodosiya commercial seaport.

According to the agency, a criminal case was opened under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Treason").

"A preventive measure has been chosen in the form of detention. The suspect confesses," the report says.

The tightening will also apply to foreigners and stateless persons.

Earlier, on July 17, a court sentenced a Kerch resident to 16.5 years in prison in a penal colony for transmitting data on the location of the air defense forces. It was clarified that he received a reward of 5,000 rubles from Ukrainian curators for his illegal activities.
