Former Pentagon adviser, retired colonel of the US Army Douglas McGregor said on July 18 that the US Army had eight days of missile reserves left for defense and attacks.

"Very reliable sources told me that we have enough missiles for defense and attacks for about eight days," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to him, Washington is capable of conducting military operations only during this time, after which it will be forced to resort to the use of nuclear weapons against the background of depletion of stocks of other weapons.

At the same time, McGregor called on the United States authorities to stop supplying strategic weapons to other countries.

The day before, the United States informed Switzerland about the delay in the supply of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) in order to send weapons to Ukraine more quickly.

On July 14, American leader Donald Trump announced that the United States and the European Union had reached an agreement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine. According to him, the United States will produce weapons for Ukraine, and European countries will pay for them.
