Putin has made adjustments to the verification of those who falsely renounced Ukrainian citizenship

Russian President Vladimir Putin has amended the rules of procedure for government officials to identify Russians who have renounced Ukrainian citizenship but continue to use their country's passport. The contents of the relevant document are provided by the TASS news agency on July 18.

"The conclusion prepared by an official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia or an authorized territorial body is subject to coordination with the deputy head of the Service for Citizenship and Registration of Foreign Citizens of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia or the head of the migration unit of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional level," the text of the document says.
