Russia cancels certificates for goods from the EAEU with violations
Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian government to revoke certificates for goods from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union issued with violations. This is evidenced by the instruction published on the Kremlin's official website.
According to the document, the amendments provide for "the possibility of termination or invalidation on the territory of the Russian Federation of documents on the assessment (confirmation) of conformity of products issued (accepted) in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in violation of mandatory requirements or established procedures."
It is specified that the order must be completed by December 30, 2025. The Government will also need to develop a mechanism for the withdrawal and suspension of the release of such products.
