Large buses will be launched on the streets of Simferopol

Large-capacity buses will run on inner-city routes in Simferopol, and the released medium-sized buses will be sent to municipalities. This information was presented at a meeting on the development of the road structure, the press service of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea reported on Thursday, July 17.

The authorities focused special attention on ensuring stable operation of public transport and its movement according to schedule. Separate lanes will be allocated for buses on the roads, and motorists will be fined for parking on them.

Representatives of the regional Ministry of Transport also reported that 85% of roads are in good condition. By the end of 2025, 25 highways with a length of more than 183 km and three artificial structures will be repaired, IA SevastopolMedia writes.

Earlier in July, it was reported that a new stop had been set up at Sochi Airport for regular passenger traffic. From there, you can take buses to Sevastopol, Simferopol, Yalta and Yevpatoria.
