A girl who was attacked by a teenager with a hammer in the Moscow region has died in hospital. This was announced on Thursday, July 17, by the Moscow region children's Ombudsman Ksenia Mishonova.

"One of the girls, who suffered from an inadequate man who attacked two friends with a hammer, died. She suffered life—threatening injuries, but the doctors fought to the last," Mishonova wrote on her Telegram channel.
