From July 25 to August 3, the "Vietnam Culture Festival" will be held on Manezhnaya Square for the first time. The event is timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Citizens and tourists will be able to watch puppet theater performances on the water, taste Vietnamese treats, and participate in creative and culinary workshops," Sergunina said.

The stage program will be complemented by performances by artists from Vietnam and Russian bands. During cooking lessons, foreign masters will teach those who wish to cook sweets from green rice and pho-bo soup. The participants of the creative classes will make toys out of rice dough and get acquainted with drawings in the dong ho genre.

The organizers of the festival are the Government of Moscow and the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia. The event will continue a series of international events within the framework of the large-scale "Summer in Moscow" project.

In 2024, 36 thousand travelers from Vietnam visited the Russian capital. Every fourth visit is for business purposes. It is expected that due to joint projects, the mutual tourist flow will continue to grow.
