Forecasters predicted cloudy weather over the weekend in Moscow

On the weekend of July 19th and 20th, mostly cloudy weather awaits Muscovites. In addition, rain is possible on both days. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on July 17.

On Saturday, July 19, it will be cloudy in Moscow, and a thunderstorm is expected in the afternoon. Gusts of moderate south-easterly wind will reach up to 5 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +20 °C, during the day it will remain at +24...+26 degrees, and by night it will drop to +20 degrees.

"In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about + 24 degrees," the forecasters said.

On Sunday, July 20, the weather in Moscow will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected throughout the day. The temperature in the morning will be +20 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +25 degrees, and at night it will remain at +19...+20 degrees. Light winds are expected, with gusts reaching 3 m/s in the afternoon.

"In the Moscow region, conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: rain is expected, and the temperature will be at the Moscow level or a maximum of one degree lower," the forecasters concluded.

Experts predict that the rains will last until the end of the week.

On July 8, Oksana Pivovarova, a professor at the Department of Therapy at the Medical Faculty of the State University of Enlightenment, a therapist, told Izvestia that extremely high temperatures are especially dangerous for vulnerable groups of the population, including the elderly, children and the chronically ill.
