The State Duma of the Russian Federation has adopted amendments to the draft law on liability for violating the procedure for freight forwarders, providing for the introduction of liability for VPN advertising and the search for extremist materials.

A fine of 500 rubles will be provided for distributing ads for VPN services, and 5,000 rubles for searching for extremist materials.
