Production of full-cycle road signs will begin in Moscow for the first time, it will be launched under an offset contract. The investor will invest at least 1 billion rubles in production, the funds will be used to create a new enterprise with an estimated area of 5,000 square meters and purchase equipment. This was announced on July 17 by the press service of the capital's Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

Over 10 years, the city will purchase over 1.5 million road signs and their components using offset. The first delivery is planned in 2025. According to Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, localization of production will ensure import substitution of all components and will allow the city to fully meet the needs of road signs.

It is stated that under the offset contract, the investor will increase the depth of production localization to 100%. For example, import substitution of fluorescent and reflective films, which are currently supplied from abroad, is expected.

After fulfilling the investment obligations under the offset contract, the investor will be able to supply the city with road signs as a single supplier, the department said.

On July 14, yellow dividing markings appeared in Moscow for the first time. It was inflicted on Chaginskaya Street in the Southeastern Administrative District. Such marking increases safety in areas with heavy traffic, the Department of Transport of the capital reported.
