Traffic has partially opened in Tyumen on the reconstructed Lenin Street
In Tyumen, Lenin Street was partially opened to traffic, where reconstruction is still underway. The city administration announced this on Thursday, July 17.
"Yesterday at ten o'clock in the evening, Lenin Street in the section from Kirov to Chelyuskintsev, as well as Chelyuskintsev Street itself, were opened to motorists and pedestrians. This made it possible to unload other roads," the report says.
According to the <url> news agency, the design and infrastructure solutions of the open area repeat the appearance and functionality of the part of Lenin Street that was renovated a year earlier.
As part of the reconstruction, pedestrian areas were expanded and bike paths were added. The road workers laid new asphalt and made a dedicated lane for public transport. There are also road signs, an outdoor lighting system, and markings.
On July 15, the city Department of Road Infrastructure and Transport also announced that the section of Lenin Street from Chelyuskintsev to Pervomaiskaya will be closed until September 1. The deadline was extended for a month and a half. At the same time, according to the contract, work on the segment must be completed by October 15, but the contractor is trying to complete them ahead of schedule, the city administration noted in its Telegram channel.
