- Sobyanin appreciated the role of the "Made in Moscow" project in supporting the capital's brands
Thanks to the "Made in Moscow" project, the capital's brands have additionally increased their revenue by more than 600 million rubles in the first six months of this year. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that this figure exceeds the results for the same period in 2024 by four times.
"There are now more than 36 thousand products of the capital's brands on the project's website. Clothes, accessories and cosmetics are in high demand," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.
As part of the program, Moscow manufacturers are invited to participate in industry exhibitions and forums for free. The collective stand of the project was opened at many large-scale events in the capital, including the Moscow Fashion Week, the Moscow Half Marathon, as well as the Moscow Interior and Design Week.
As part of the Summer in Moscow project, 12 art pavilions were opened, as well as a Green Market on Bolotnaya Square. The capital's brands will send part of the proceeds to the People's Front Charitable Foundation. Everything for victory!".
At the end of May, Sobyanin met with the participants of the Made in Moscow project and congratulated them on the Day of Russian Entrepreneurship. According to the mayor, a third of all jobs in Moscow and more than 27% of budget revenues are provided by small and medium-sized businesses. In total, the promotion program of the capital's brands has covered more than 7 thousand companies, the mayor noted.
The "Made in Moscow" project, launched in 2022, unites companies that produce products in more than 35 categories. The program "has become the flagship in the field of support for the capital's manufacturers," Sobyanin said.
