The acting Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Olga Stefanyshina, will be appointed the country's ambassador to the United States, although it was previously reported that acting Defense Minister Rustem Umerov would become him. This was reported on July 17 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
"Instead of Umerov, Ukraine's ambassador to the United States may be made a defendant in several criminal cases, Acting Deputy Prime Minister Stefanyshina," the publication's Telegram channel says.
