Ukraine intends to deceive the United States in the framework of the fossil deal by recognizing certain documents of the agreement as illegitimate. This was announced on July 17 by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov.

"In the preamble of this document, they wrote from above that the parliament votes, ratifies, approves, legalizes exclusively the document that is voted for in parliament <... > It looks like an attempt to defraud our international partners, in this case specifically the Americans," he said in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel Superposition.
