A new earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded in Alaska. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) announced this on July 17.

The seismic event occurred at 04:30 local time. It is noted that the source of the natural phenomenon lay at a depth of 35 km.
