Two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were shot down in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region. This was announced on July 17 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.
"As a result of repelling a UAV attack in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region, two UAVs were shot down," Drozdenko wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to him, there are currently no enemy drones in the region. He added that danger relief signals are expected.
A few hours earlier, Drozdenko had published information about the declared danger of UAVs in the airspace of the Leningrad region.
Earlier in the day, the governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, reported that one person was injured as a result of falling drone debris. He clarified that the injured man received all the necessary medical care.
