The United States intends to impose import duties of 10-15% on goods from 150 countries. This was announced on July 16 by the American leader Donald Trump.

"We are going to publish one figure for the remaining (small — Ed.), almost 150 countries. We will just publish one figure, and it will probably be 10% or 15%," he told the Real America's Voice TV channel.

In addition, the head of the White House said that he does not seek to conclude a trade agreement with the European Union (EU). He explained this decision by saying that Washington would be quite satisfied with duties of 30% on all European imports.

On July 12, Trump announced US plans to impose 30% duties on goods from the European Union from August 1, 2025. He added that duties will not be imposed if the EU or its companies decide to manufacture products in the United States.
