The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of the special operation

On July 17, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

The department highlighted the actions of Lieutenant Denis Pshenichny of the assault group, who carried out a combat mission to provide fire support to attack aircraft on the western outskirts of one of the settlements.

So, Pshenichny, using the terrain, secretly made his way to a firing point located in the middle of an open area, where, having got his bearings, he identified the places of concentration of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). After that, the lieutenant opened fire on them with his small arms, destroying up to 10 enemy personnel. Subsequently, he provoked the fire of an enemy machine gun, at the moment of reloading which suppressed the enemy's firing point.

Thanks to Pshenichny's bold and decisive actions, his assault group was able not only to penetrate the inaccessible forest belt, but also to gain a foothold in the enemy's stronghold, which later allowed the settlement to be liberated from Ukrainian militants with minimal losses.

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted the actions of the guard of Private Alexei Kolmogorov, who performed a combat mission to protect and defend previously occupied borders.

During a raid by enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which his unit was subjected to, Kolmogorov assisted two servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces who were wounded during the attack. Then he personally took the injured colleagues to a shelter to organize further evacuation.

After that, having made sure that the lives of the servicemen were not in danger, the private returned to his position, where, during the observation, he discovered another UAV approaching the positions of the Russian military. Having taken an advantageous position, he destroyed the drone with a well-aimed shot and standard weapons, after which he continued to conduct surveillance.

Thus, thanks to Kolmogorov's courage and dedication, the unit retained its previously occupied positions without loss of personnel.
