Residents of the Russian capital have selected the most interesting events of the Summer in Moscow project on the Active Citizen portal.

According to Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina, "the most popular events were for families with children: master classes, games and quizzes." "Film screenings and lectures are in second place, cooking lessons, fairs and chef competitions are in third place," the vice mayor said, adding that the voting participants chose from 14 thematic areas.

The top five also included musical performances and theatrical performances.: These are concerts, performances, creative evenings and acting classes. In addition, Muscovites often voted for historical quizzes, sports competitions, training sessions, and festivals.

In each category, it was possible to specify the most interesting events and formats. One of the winners of the vote was the international festival "Theater Boulevard", where more than 3 thousand artists from the regions of Russia and friendly countries are scheduled to perform. In the field of cinema, Muscovites have chosen summer screenings in parks and recreation areas. History buffs noted, in particular, the Times and Epochs festival held in June.

The participants called the Moscow Helps campaign the main charity event. As part of this event, "Houses of Kindness" were opened at festival venues in all districts of the capital, where you can bring gifts for children from new regions and participants of your community, as well as goods for animals from shelters.

The Summer in Moscow project runs from June 1 to September 14 and unites more than 400 locations throughout the city.
