A six-year-old girl died in an accident with a truck in the Krasnodar Territory.

A 6-year-old girl was killed in a collision between a car and a truck in the Pavlovsky district of the Krasnodar Territory. This was announced on Wednesday, July 16, by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"The driver of an empty Volvo tonar hit a parked Nissan car while overtaking. <...> A six—year-old girl was killed in the car, two more passengers were injured, one of whom was a nine-year-old girl," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the 60-year—old Nissan driver, the child's grandfather, was not injured in the accident, but died of a heart attack later. An inspection is underway, the police are establishing the circumstances of the accident.

On the same day, an accident involving two passenger cars occurred in the Novosibirsk region, as a result of which seven people died and another was injured. Later, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health reported that the child who was injured in this accident would be taken by helicopter to Novosibirsk. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has opened a criminal case.
