FC Krylia Sovetov terminated the contract with the suspended Pisarsky
Samara football club (FC) Krylia Sovetov unilaterally terminated the contract with striker Vladimir Pisarsky. This was announced on July 16 by lawyer Anton Smirnov, who represents the interests of the player.
"FC Krylia Sovetov unilaterally terminated their employment contract with Vladimir Pisarsky on the basis of paragraph 1) of part 1 of Article 348.11 — sports disqualification for a period of six months or more," Smirnov wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the lawyer, the player's side does not agree with this decision, since the disqualification and the ban on football-related activities relate to different sanctions. Smirnov also attached a photo of the relevant document of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
The RFU conducted a check after information appeared that Pisarsky could have bet on Sochi's first play-off match with Paris NN (1:2). In that game, the player received a red card in the first half, adds Sport-Express.
On July 3, the RFU suspended Vladimir Pisarsky, the forward of the FC Sochi football club, for four years, three of which will be conditional.
