The European Commission (EC) has proposed allocating €100 billion to Ukraine for 2028-2034. This was reported by Barrons magazine on July 16.

"The EC has proposed to create a fund of up to €100 billion to support Ukraine during the next budget period of the 2028-2034 block," the article says.

The head of the Budget Committee, Petr Serafin, called it a long-term commitment to the restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine. He stressed that the allocated funds will go "beyond the ceiling" of the budget.

Earlier, on July 8, Bloomberg reported that the European Union (EU) is considering the possibility of creating a fund in the amount of €100 billion to support Ukraine as part of the seven-year budget plan for unification for 2028-2034. According to the agency, this step demonstrates a greater increase in the interest of EU member states in the Ukrainian army than the United States.
