The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections has increased in the Tula region

Over the past week, more than 1.8 thousand people in the Tula region have contracted acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The incidence increased by 3.1%.

In Tula alone, 1,142 people turned to doctors. This is more than the incidence rate of the previous week by 14.9%, TSN24 writes.

The regional department of Rospotrebnadzor notes that the incidence is below the epidemic threshold by 31.2%.

Earlier it was reported that two people died after being bitten by ticks in the Novosibirsk region. One was diagnosed with encephalitis, the other with rickettsiosis.
