Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has changed his mobile phone number and stopped responding to messages after an argument with US President Donald Trump over the Republican tax and spending bill. This was announced on July 16 by Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson.

"I sent him (the mask. — Ed.) a long text message, and then his phone number changed because something happened to him after an argument," the New York Post quoted Johnson as saying in the Pod Force One podcast.

He also noted that this did not prevent him from repeatedly contacting Musk through third parties. Johnson also expressed hope that Musk and Trump will be able to establish relations.
