Galina Murenina, Honorary academician of the International Academy of Culture and Art, has died at the age of 85. This was announced on July 16 by the Mayor of Saratov, Mikhail Isaev, in the Telegram channel.

"Galina Platonovna Murenina, an honorary citizen of Saratov, died at the age of 86. <...> I express my condolences to the family and friends of Galina Platonovna," the publication says.

It is specified that her name appears in the collection "2000 outstanding intellectuals of the XXI century." In addition, the academician was included in the list of "100 leading educators of 2009".
