The best-selling automatic cars in Russia are named
In the first half of this year, Lada Vesta became the best-selling model with an automatic transmission in the Russian car market. This was reported on July 16 by the analytical agency Autostat.
So, from January to June, 25.8 thousand new Lada Vesta family cars equipped with an automatic transmission were sold in the country (both classic "automatic machines" and "robots" with variators are taken into account in the calculations).
Vesta replaced the Haval Jolion crossover, which was the leader of this rating last year, in second place. Over the past six months, the circulation of Jolion with "automatic" amounted to 23.8 thousand units. The top three were supplemented by the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover (19.7 thousand units), followed by Geely Monjaro (13.6 thousand units), Changan Uni-S / CS55 Plus (13.5 thousand units) and Belgee X50 (11.4 thousand units).
Omoda C5 (10.7 thousand units), Haval F7 (9.8 thousand units), Chery Tiggo 4 (9.4 thousand units) and Haval M6 (7.8 thousand units) added to the top ten best-selling cars in the Russian Federation.
The share of cars with automatic transmissions in the Russian market accounted for 69.5% of the total volume (368.9 thousand units).
The day before, it was reported that following the results of the first half of 2025, the Haval Jolion model became the bestseller in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) in Russia. In second place is the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover, followed by Lada Niva Travel and Niva Legend, as well as Geely Monjaro.
