Six bridges were repaired on the Mondy–Orlik road in Buryatia

In the Republic of Buryatia, the overhaul of six bridge structures located on the Mondy–Orlik highway has been completed. The republican Ministry for the Development of Transport, Energy and Road Infrastructure announced this on Wednesday, July 16.

All six crossings are located on the Mondy–Orlik road in the Okinsky district. These are the bridge over the Ehe-Haigas River on the 98th km of the highway and the bridge 120 m behind it, as well as bridges on the 91st, 97th, 99th and 102nd km.

"The old wooden structures were dismantled, modern culverts were installed instead, a road surface and a metal barrier fence were installed. Today, the facilities are in a high state of readiness and will be put into operation soon," the report says.

Major repairs of the crossings began in 2024. The facilities were put in order as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". It is also planned to overhaul 29 bridges in 13 districts in Buryatia in 2025.
