Armenia and France are discussing a document on strategic partnership. This was announced on July 16 by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"We have a project with France that we are working on. And I hope that it will be agreed upon first," he said at a press conference broadcast on the Armenian government's YouTube channel.

Pashinyan stressed that this is a project of strategic partnership between the two countries. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the relevant document would be signed soon.

On June 30, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Armenia and the European Union (EU) have begun discussing cooperation in the field of security and defense. He called the start of consultations an important step for building bilateral cooperation that meets modern challenges.
