Six renovated schools will open at the beginning of the school year in Krasnoyarsk

On September 1, four schools and two lyceums will open in Krasnoyarsk after major repairs. This is reported by the city administration.

"This year, on September 1, six educational institutions will welcome students after a large-scale overhaul. Studies will begin in lyceums No. 2 and 11, as well as in schools № 42, 45, 53, 82", — the message says.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, work at school No. 42 on Koltseva Street, 12a, is already being completed. New modern equipment was delivered for the students, including interactive panels and monoblocks.

The renovation of the school, built in 1964, started in early 2024. During this time, the builders repaired the walls, ceilings, and floors on three floors, put the roof in order and installed a new drainage system, updated the facade, and replaced windows and doors.

In addition, the construction of two new schools in Krasnoyarsk, designed for 1.1 thousand places each, is currently being completed. The facilities were built on Omskaya and Vzletnaya streets, and contractors have already begun landscaping the surrounding areas.
