A minor scooter driver was killed in an accident in Novorossiysk.

In Novorossiysk (Krasnodar Territory), a 16-year-old scooter driver was killed in a collision with a passenger car. The regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reports about this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred late in the evening, on July 15, on the highway towards the village of Abrau-Durso. According to police, the 21-year-old driver of a Nissan car drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Yamaha scooter.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, a 16-year-old boy was driving the scooter. He died on the spot. His 33-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries in Novorossiysk.

A check has been organized on the fact of a fatal accident. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

On June 30, in Bashkiria, a 14-year-old boy driving a pit bike collided with an oncoming Lada Granta while overtaking. The pit bike driver died before paramedics arrived, and his 14-year-old passenger died on the way to a medical facility.
