In Russia, the number of Indian students in universities is 30 thousand people. This was announced on July 16 by Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov.
"If only recently the number of Indian students in Russian universities was about 20 thousand people, now it is already 30 thousand people," he said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
According to Alipov, the Russian and Indian sides are cooperating in the field of culture and education as part of the expansion of cooperation.
Yesterday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar confirmed their commitment to intensifying the bilateral strategic partnership.
