The Kremlin called for putting pressure on Kiev to hold talks.

Russia is calling on all sides to put pressure on Ukraine to hold a new round of direct talks with Moscow. This was announced on July 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We've talked it all out. In this case, the main mediation efforts of the United States are [US President Donald] Trump and his team. And a lot of statements were made, there were a lot of words about disappointment, but, of course, we will hope that pressure is being exerted on the Ukrainian side at the same time," Peskov said in an interview with reporters.
