Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed to open a criminal case into an accident involving buses in Moscow, as a result of which 11 people were injured. This was announced on July 16 by the press service of the department.

"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to open a criminal case into an accident in Moscow involving buses," the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said.

They added that Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the Main Investigative Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the capital, Vitaly Saksin, to open a case on the incident and submit a report.

The day before, two electric buses collided in the southwest of Moscow, injuring 11 people. It was noted that there was a collision at the bus stop, after which one of the buses drove onto the sidewalk and crashed into the city lighting mast.
