American military personnel will not be stationed on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced on July 15 by US President Donald Trump.

"We will not have soldiers on the territory of military operations [in Ukraine]," he said during a conversation with reporters at the Andrews military base near Washington.

The American leader also added that arms supplies to Kiev are already being carried out and the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) are paying for it.

In addition, the head of the White House noted that he believes in the desire of the Russian side, in particular, Russian President Vladimir Putin, to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

On the same day, Trump announced that he intends to impose sanctions on Russia if agreements on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict are not reached. He also stressed that if he had been in power instead of his predecessor as president Joe Biden, this situation would not have happened.
