Israel has declared its readiness to stop attacks on the Syrian military after a request from the White House. This was announced on July 15 by the correspondent of the Axios portal, Barak Ravid, with reference to an American high-ranking official.

"The administration of [US President Donald] Trump asked Israel to stop attacks on the Syrian armed forces in the south of the country. <...> Israel has promised that it will stop the attacks on Tuesday evening," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On the same day, the Israeli Foreign Ministry announced its country's readiness to take all necessary measures to protect the Druze from attacks allegedly by the Syrian army. A day earlier, on July 14, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked Syrian tanks near the city of Al-Suwayd.
