Five people died in an accident in the Kaluga region.

In the Kaluga region, five people were killed in a two-car accident. This was announced on July 15 by the regional press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (UMVD) of Russia.

"An accident has been registered on 48 km of the Kaluga–Ferzikovo–Tarusa–Serpukhov highway. According to preliminary information, two vehicles collided: a BMW car and a Ford car," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the driver of a BMW born in 1972, as well as three of his passengers, died as a result of the accident. In addition, the driver of a 1965 Ford car was also killed.

It is noted that currently, traffic police officers and representatives of the investigative task force are working at the scene of the accident, they are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Vladimir region reported on the same day that three people, two adults and a child, were killed in a collision between a car and a truck. The ministry clarified that the incident occurred on the 231st km of the R-132 Golden Ring highway. It was noted that police officers were working at the scene of the accident.
