FSB officers detained a Russian citizen in the DPR for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), FSB officers detained a Russian citizen for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Wednesday, July 16, by the regional department of the department.

"The man has repeatedly transferred funds to electronic bank accounts used to finance the armed formations of Ukraine," the report says.

It is clarified that a criminal case has been opened against the attacker under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("High treason").

The tightening will also apply to foreigners and stateless persons.

On July 8, the Sevastopol City Court sentenced a local resident to 17 years in prison in a high-security penal colony for transferring data on Russian military facilities to Ukraine. It was clarified that the man voluntarily joined a chat in the messenger, which is coordinated by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense in order to conduct sabotage and terrorist activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
