Dmitriev announced titanic efforts to undermine the dialogue between Russia and the United States

Titanic efforts are being made to undermine the Russian-American dialogue. This was announced on July 15 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for economic cooperation with foreign countries.

Accordingly, Dmitriev commented on the denial by White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt of a Financial Times (FT) newspaper publication that US President Donald Trump, in a conversation with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, called for strikes against Moscow. He urged the FT to check its sources and approach its work more responsibly.

"Another fake news has been fixed. Titanic efforts are continuing to undermine the dialogue between the United States and Russia, including through disinformation," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Earlier, on July 10, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at talks in Kuala Lumpur confirmed their commitment to finding peaceful solutions to conflict situations. In addition, the parties are committed to restoring Russian-American economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as unhindered contacts between the societies of the two countries.
