The best-selling crossovers in Russia in 2025 are named
According to the results of the first half of 2025, the Haval Jolion model became the bestseller in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) in Russia. This was reported on July 15 by the analytical agency Autostat.
So, in January-June, 25.6 thousand Haval Jolion were sold in the Russian Federation. He topped the ranking by a solid margin from his closest competitors. The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover is in second place with an indicator of 19.7 thousand units. The top five were completed by Lada Niva Travel and Niva Legend (16.2 thousand and 15.3 thousand units, respectively), as well as Geely Monjaro (13.8 thousand units).
The top ten leaders in the SUV segment in the first half of the year were Changan Uni-S / CS55 Plus (13.5 thousand units), Haval M6 (12 thousand units), Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (11.9 thousand units), Belgee X50 (11.4 thousand units) and Omoda C5 (10.7 thousand units).

This class of cars remains the largest in the Russian market, accounting for 67.4% of the total new passenger car market in 2025, experts estimate.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that GAC intends to bring its subsidiary brand Aion to the Russian market. It was unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show in 2018. The brand's first model, the Aion S sedan, entered the Chinese market in 2019. Currently, the line in the home market includes seven models — sedans, hatchbacks and crossovers.
