According to the expert, the biggest discounts on stationery, shoe bags and school backpacks are available in stores and marketplaces after September 1.

"At that time, most of the buyers had already purchased these goods, and the demand for them had sharply decreased. They can be purchased at a discount of 30-60% of the original cost," she said in an interview with aif.ru .

Borisova noted that it is possible to make a centralized classroom purchase of notebooks, diaries, albums, and textbook covers for the whole year. You can try to get discounts on other types of goods in stores and on marketplaces.

She also recommended using discount store cards, especially when buying clothes, shoes for school and sports equipment. The expert noted that some of the goods can be bought by hand.

In addition, it is not necessary to buy clothes and shoes in advance, as you may face the problem that the child has not grown to the purchased size or has outgrown it, she stressed.

"It is better to postpone the purchase of this product group at least until the end of July or August, actively monitoring promotions in stores and on marketplace websites. A part of the future student's wardrobe can be purchased in early September (for example, a second shirt, blouse, skirt), when companies begin selling the remaining school supplies," Borisova concluded.
