The expert reported on the continuation of rainy weather in Moscow until the end of the week.

Rainy weather will remain in the capital until the end of the week, but precipitation will become less intense. Alexander Shuvalov, a forecaster and head of the Meteo forecasting center, told Izvestia about this on July 15.

"They [precipitation] will be daily almost until the end of the week. But their character will be quite different from day to day. <...> There will be rains on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but they will become more short—lived and less intense," the specialist explained.

Shuvalov stressed that the weather in Moscow will continue to be hot - during the rain, the air temperature may decrease, but then it will rise again.

"The temperature will stay around 25 degrees, even despite these short—term rains," Shuvalov summed up.

Experts predict that the rains will last until the end of the week.

On July 15, the Metropolitan Complex of Urban Economy reported that the monthly precipitation rate fell in some areas of Moscow in less than two hours. It is specified that the largest amount of precipitation was recorded in the Northern Administrative District (SAO) — up to 85 mm, as well as in the Eastern Administrative District (VAO) — up to 75 mm.
