Cars flooded in the north of Moscow due to heavy rain
As a result of heavy rain in the Dmitrovsky district in the north of Moscow, some cars partially went under water. This was reported on July 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia.
Footage from the scene shows that special equipment is working next to the affected vehicles. Some cars went under water up to the hood level.
The news Telegram channel of the Moscow Department of Transport also reported that the lobby of the Rizhskaya station on the Bolshoy Koltsevaya Line (BCL) was temporarily closed due to heavy rain.
Earlier in the day, the Moscow City Management Complex reported that the city had received its monthly rainfall in less than two hours. It is specified that the largest amount of precipitation was recorded in the Northern Administrative District (SAO) — up to 85 mm, as well as in the Eastern Administrative District (VAO) — up to 75 mm.
