Extreme fire danger predicted in Stavropol

An extreme fire danger will be established in the Stavropol Territory on July 15 and 16. Local residents are asked to take precautions.

According to forecasts, a high risk of wildfires is expected in the north and south-east of Stavropol. This is reported by the StavropolMedia news agency.

At the same time, a storm warning continues to be in effect in the region. Showers and hail are expected in some places.

Earlier it was reported that in the Trans-Baikal Territory and Buryatia, it was possible to stabilize the fire situation in the forests. The area covered by fire since the beginning of the year has amounted to 4.2 million hectares.
