In Crimea, 33 people became infected with tick-borne infections. This is reported by IA SevastopolMedia with reference to information from Rospotrebnadzor.

30 victims were diagnosed with tick-borne borreliosis. Three more people contracted encephalitis, and two of the victims became infected outside the region.

All the patients visited the forest and park areas, densely planted with plants. Residents of Crimea are reminded that vaccination can protect them from encephalitis.

Doctors remind us that ticks carry many diseases. After a pest bite, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Encephalitis affects the nervous system and causes inflammation of the brain. Borreliosis affects the joints and the heart.
